My name is Bára Hrebackova, and I am a tap and solo jazz dancer as well as a dance teacher. I began dancing as a child, first exploring folk dance and hip hop, before eventually finding my passion in tap and jazz dance. I developed my foundation in these styles while living in Prague, Czech Republic, and have continued to grow as both a performer and educator since moving to Belgium in 2012.

In my choreographies I build on the vocabulary and traditions of the art forms I am trained in while also searching for my own expression and movement that feels natural and gives me joy.

A quartet with Tom Callens (sax), Wouter van den Broeck (piano) and Victor Foulon (bass). The fourth instrument is tap dance.
